USPS offers several products and services to help customers meet this year’s April 18 tax mailing deadline, including:
- Extended hours. Customers can use the PO Locator tool on usps.com to find Post Offices that will stay open later April 18.
- Proof of mailing options. Several services are available for customers who want to show their return was mailed, delivered, or both.
- Online services. Customers can print Priority Mail Express and Priority Mail shipping labels through Click-N-Ship.
USPS also reminds customers to write clearly when addressing envelopes and use sufficient postage. Tax returns without enough postage will be returned.
