The Postal Service’s national scanning score for the week ending April 1 was 97.14 percent, up from one week earlier.
Forty districts and four areas exceeded the national average. Arkansas (98.15 percent) led the districts, while Western (97.5 percent) topped the areas.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
