The Postal Service has extended the sale period for Freedom 250 merchandise through Dec. 31.
Post Offices that received countertop displays for selling Freedom 250 items are encouraged to keep them up in retail lobbies but not to leave them out overnight in 24-hour locations.
USPS is financially responsible for any unsold or unreturned items. Instructions for returning any unsold items will be communicated at the end of December.
