More than 5,200 dog attacks on Postal Service employees were reported last year, the organization announced last week.
The figures were released as part of the USPS National Dog Bite Awareness Campaign, which began June 1.

The theme for this year’s campaign is “Don’t turn your back on dog bite prevention.”
