USPS switching to poly plastic for three envelope types

The Postal Service is changing the material used for its Priority Mail EP14, Priority Mail Express EP13C and Priority Mail mili-pac envelopes from Tyvek to poly plastic, beginning Nov. 15.

The move will allow the organization to increase the recycled content used in packaging materials.

Tyvek envelopes will be available while the current supply lasts. The changeover is expected to be completed in December.

Employees with questions can email the expedited packaging team.
