Jennifer Vo has been named retail and Post Office operations vice president.

She succeeds Elvin Mercado, who served in the position until last year.

Vo will oversee the Postal Service’s retail network, including more than 31,000 Post Offices. She will also be responsible for the field maintenance organization — managing maintenance services for Post Offices and branches.

She most recently was California 6 District manager.

Prior to that, she served as delivery strategy and policy director, city delivery operations director, acting manager of the former Philadelphia District, and postmaster in Philadelphia and Memphis, TN.

Vo joined the Postal Service in 1994 as a letter carrier.
