The Protect Sea Turtles stamps will come in a pane of 18, featuring six species of sea turtles.

The Postal Service will release its Protect Sea Turtles stamps on Tuesday, June 11, to raise awareness of the threats posed to some of the oldest groups of animals on earth.

The stamps feature the six species that forage in U.S. waters or nest on American beaches: loggerhead, leatherback, hawksbill, Kemp’s ridley, olive ridley and green sea turtles.

Derry Noyes, an art director for USPS, designed the stamps using existing photographs.

The Forever stamps will be available in panes of 18 at Post Offices and usps.com.

The stamps will be dedicated during a ceremony at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi.
