Delivery data, field notecards, Bulletin also highlighted

WestPac was the area leader in scanning during the week ending Dec. 1, while Michigan 2 finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 94.99 percent during the week ending Dec. 1, down 1.11 percent from one week earlier.

The data was collected Dec. 6.

WestPac led the four areas with a rating of 96.30 percent, while Southern ranked last with a 93.53 percent rating.

Among the 50 districts, Michigan 2, part of Central Area, ranked first with a 97.30 percent rating, while Illinois 1, also part of Central, ranked last with an 86.22 percent rating.

Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.

Field notecards. Holiday 2023 facts and talking points are available for employees to use. The 11-page PDF offers information on USPS tools, shipping tips, and holiday programs, including USPS Operation Santa and Greetings from the North Pole Post Office. The notecards are in the Postal Communicator’s Toolbox, under the “Blue Holiday Newsroom.” Select “Field Notecards” under the holiday heading.

Postal Bulletin. Postal Bulletin’s Nov. 30 edition features a cover story about slips, trips and falls, along with the latest updates to USPS policies, procedures and forms.

Delivery data. From Oct. 1-Nov. 24, the Postal Service delivered 87.5 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.

During the same period, USPS delivered 94.2 percent of Marketing Mail and 84.2 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.
