Delivery data, holiday GIFs, Bulletin also highlighted

WestPac was the area leader in scanning during the week ending Nov. 3, while Michigan 2 finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 95.64 percent during the week ending Nov. 3, down 0.38 percent from one week earlier.

The data was collected Nov. 8.

WestPac led the four areas with a rating of 96.27 percent, while Central ranked last with a 94.90 percent rating.

Among the 50 districts, Michigan 2, part of Central Area, ranked first with a 97.56 percent rating, while Illinois 1, also part of Central, ranked last with a 90.63 percent rating.

Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.

Holiday GIFs: The Postal Service has 19 new digital images for the holiday season.

These images — called GIFs — can be used on social media and embedded in emails.

The GIFs can be downloaded from the USPS brand account on Giphy.com.

Delivery data. From Oct. 1-27, the Postal Service delivered 88.1 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.

During the same period, USPS delivered 94.5 percent of Marketing Mail and 85.6 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.
