Rural Carrier Andrew “Andy” Owens was driving along his route in Liberty, MO, recently when he saw a girl who looked to be about 2 years old walking alone toward a busy road.
Owens pulled over and approached the child to stop her from venturing further.
He called 911 and stayed with her until police arrived.
The toddler had wandered off from her home and traveled almost a half-mile by foot.
Her parents had been unaware she was gone.
