WestPac was the area leader in scanning during the week ending Sept. 1, while California 6 finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 95.80 percent during the week ending Sept. 1, up 0.18 percent from one week earlier.

The data was collected Sept. 6.

WestPac led the four areas with a rating of 96.59 percent, while Southern ranked last with a 95.41 percent rating.

Among the 50 districts, California 6, part of WestPac Area, ranked first with a 97.61 percent rating, while Illinois 1, part of Central Area, ranked last with an 89.96 percent rating.

Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.

Free supplies on Click-N-Ship. Customers can now request expedited packaging supplies when placing a Click-N-Ship label order.

Requests for free Priority Mail, Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Express and Priority Mail Express International supplies will be processed within one business day of order receipt and shipped with USPS Ground Advantage within 2-5 days. Shipment with Priority Mail (1-3 days) is available for a fee.

Delivery data. From July 1-Aug. 25, the Postal Service delivered 91.5 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.

During the same period, USPS delivered 95.3 percent of Marketing Mail and 86.2 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.
