Rio Grande, NJ, Letter Carrier Ryan Ritchie was recently making deliveries when he grew worried about a customer whose mail was piling up unusually.
Ritchie contacted one of the woman’s family members.
It was soon discovered that the customer was in dire need of medical attention after suffering a stroke several days earlier.
“Thankfully she has recovered,” said Rio Grande Postmaster Cheryl Foster. “A very happy ending!”
