The Postal Service has named Ronnie J. Jarriel to a newly created vice president position to oversee fleet modernization and electrification strategy.
The new position reports to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, who said in a recent memo that this move “will accelerate the acquisition and development of our new vehicle fleet.”
Jarriel’s team consists of Fleet Management, including the vehicle maintenance facilities; the next-generation delivery vehicle program; and the contracting teams responsible for vehicles and delivery.
The Delivery Industrial Equipment team will remain with Supply Management.
Prior to joining the Postal Service, Jarriel held senior leadership positions at XPO Logistics and New Breed Logistics.
