The Postal Service will offer the next virtual career fair for front-line supervisory positions on July 24 at 1 p.m. Eastern.
These events are part of Focus on the Front, an initiative to help USPS fill more than 2,100 Executive and Administrative Schedule Level 17 supervisory positions throughout the organization.
More than 25,000 employees have already registered to attend the initial virtual career fairs, which began in May. The fairs are designed to educate employees who are interested in applying for a front-line supervisor position.
During the July 24 virtual event, participants will hear from operational leaders and receive an overview of the knowledge and skills needed to be a competitive applicant. Individual sessions will provide attendees with information on how to apply for vacancies in eCareer and tips for interviewing.
Additionally, participants will receive information on what positions may be available as they continue their career journey beyond the supervisory role.
The final fair will be held on Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. Eastern.
The fairs are open to both career and noncareer employees. Employees must complete an online registration form to participate in one of the upcoming fairs.
