The new stamp releases will include, clockwise from left, African Daisy, Shel Silverstein, Monument Valley, Mariachi and Palace of Fine Arts.
The Postal Service has announced the following additional stamp releases for 2022:
• Palace of Fine Arts, a Priority Mail Express stamp featuring San Francisco’s architectural landmark;
• Monument Valley, a Priority Mail stamp that illustrates the iconic sandstone formations of the American West;
• African Daisy, an international Forever stamp featuring the bright blossom native to southern Africa;
• Shel Silverstein, a Forever stamp with a playful illustration from the author’s book “The Giving Tree”;
• Flags on Barns, a stamp for business-mail users that features pencil and watercolor depictions of banners painted on the sides of barnyard buildings;
• Floral Geometry, $2 and $5 denominated stamps with abstract images of floral patterns; and
• Mariachi, colorful Forever stamps that capture the vibrant Mexican American musical tradition.
The Palace of Fine Arts and Monument Valley stamps will be released Feb. 14. The African Daisy stamp will be released March 14.
The release dates for the rest of the stamps have yet to be announced.

The Palace of Fine Arts stamp will showcase the San Francisco landmark that has long been a source of pride for residents and an attraction for visitors from around the world.
Reminiscent of a vintage travel poster, the Monument Valley stamp will emphasize the region’s vast stone formations while highlighting the vivid colors of the sky, the land and the area’s distinctive plant life.
The round African Daisy Global stamp can be used to mail a 1-ounce letter to any country to which First-Class Mail International service is available.
The Shel Silverstein stamp will honor the extraordinarily versatile author (1930-1999) whose picture book, “The Giving Tree,” and quirky poetry collections are beloved by children everywhere.
Four colorful pencil and watercolor illustrations will highlight Flags on Barns, the latest release for business-mail users.
The two similarly designed Floral Geometry stamps, denominated at $2 and $5, will lend an elegant and contemporary appearance to packages, large envelopes and other mailings.
Each of the five vibrant illustrations in the pane of 20 Mariachi stamps will feature a musician dressed in a traje de charro, the traditional outfit of mariachi performers, playing one of five iconic mariachi instruments: guitar, guitarron, vihuela, violin and trumpet.
