Delivery data, bottled water ordering also noted

WestPac was the area leader in scanning during the week ending Oct. 1, while Washington finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 96.68 percent during the week ending Oct. 1, down 0.29 percent from one week earlier.

The data was collected Oct. 6.

WestPac led the four areas with a rating of 97.05 percent, while Southern ranked last with a 96.13 percent rating.

Among the 50 districts, Washington, part of WestPac Area, ranked first with a 97.99 percent rating, while Puerto Rico, part of Southern Area, ranked last with an 84.75 percent rating.

To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.

Delivery data. From July 1-Sept. 24, USPS delivered 88.1 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.

During the same period, USPS delivered 92.5 percent of Marketing Mail and 82.2 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.

Bottled water reminder. All USPS facilities that purchase Nestle’s 5-gallon bottled drinking water service must complete a new purchase order for fiscal year 2022, which begins Oct. 1.
