Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 97.06 percent during the week ending June 25, down 0.13 percent from one week earlier.
The data was collected June 30.
Western Pacific led the four areas with a rating of 97.32 percent, while Atlantic ranked last with a 96.75 percent rating.
Among the 50 districts, California 1, part of Western Pacific Area, ranked first with a 98.11 percent rating, while Puerto Rico, part of Southern Area, ranked last with a 92.34 percent rating.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.
Delivery data. The Postal Service’s improved performance during the second quarter held steady during the week ending June 18, according to data reported last week.
New stamps. USPS will dedicate its stamp honoring writer Ursula K. Le Guin on July 27 in Portland, OR, while the Missouri Statehood stamp will be dedicated Aug. 10 in Jefferson City, MO.
Both stamps will be available nationwide at Post Offices and usps.com on the day of their dedication ceremonies.
