Postal Service facilities should return U.S. flags to full-staff, effective April 23 at sunset.
On April 20, President Joe Biden ordered flags to fly at half-staff to honor Walter Mondale, the former vice president who died the previous day. According to the order, flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment, which is April 23.
