Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 91 percent during the week ending Dec. 18, down 4.28 percent from one week earlier.
The data was collected Dec. 23.
Western-Pacific led the four areas with a rating of 94.53 percent, followed by Southern (91.88 percent), Central (89.69 percent) and Atlantic (87.09 percent).
Among the 67 districts, Salt Lake City, part of Western-Pacific Area, ranked first with a rating of 96.67 percent, while Baltimore, part of Atlantic Area, ranked last with a 70.83 percent rating.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
