Here’s a look at some recent changes in the USPS leadership ranks:
• Anthony Gibson, Western Area’s sales director, was named acting national sales executive director.
• Norris W. Hamm, the Fort Myers, FL, Processing and Distribution Center’s plant manager, was named the Manasota, FL, Processing and Distribution Center’s acting plant manager.
• Jewelyn Harrington, continuous improvement manager at USPS headquarters in Washington, DC, was named acting operational excellence manager.
• Fharon Hicks was named acting field performance manager. He most recently served as operations performance, diagnostics and visualization manager, a role that will be filled on an acting basis by Ernest Onody, operational applications manager.
• Tom Hopkins, a master black belt at USPS headquarters, was named acting continuous improvement manager.
• Robert L. Johnson, the Pensacola, FL, Processing and Distribution Center’s plant manager, was named the Royal Palm, FL, Processing and Distribution Center’s acting plant manager.
• Taneka Lawson, a Lean Six Sigma trainer at USPS headquarters, was named acting operations industrial engineering field integration manager.
• Dennis Stasa, senior plant manager at the San Antonio, TX, Processing and Distribution Center, retired after more than 34 years with the Postal Service.
