Library offers new research tools

If you need to conduct research related to the coronavirus pandemic, the USPS Corporate Library can help.

Several new research tools are available on the USPS Corporate Library’s Subscription Databases Blue page, including resources related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Here’s an overview:

• Industry research. Curious to see how various U.S. industries have weathered past economic downturns? The U.S. Industry Wizard — one of the “Expert Tools” options in the IBISWorld section — allows users to compare data across industries from 2000 to today, as well as projections to 2026.

• Legal and regulatory research. LexisNexis is providing complimentary access to coronavirus-related information in several of its research databases, including State Net and Law360.

State Net tracks state and federal government activity related to the coronavirus — including pending bills, new regulations and executive orders.

Law360 tracks the latest court closures and restrictions. Access is now available to all Law360 COVID-19 articles at no charge.

• New on HeinOnline. The U.S. Congressional Documents database on HeinOnline offers full-text searching of the Congressional Record, congressional hearings, the U.S. Serial Set and reports from the Congressional Budget Office and the Government Accountability Office, among others.
