Chelsea, MA, Letter Carrier Robert Brown was recently delivering mail to a customer’s home in neighboring Winthrop when he saw her sprawled out on the floor inside.
Brown rushed to her side and found that she was breathing but unresponsive, so he immediately called 911.
Emergency responders soon arrived and took the customer to a hospital, where she was treated for diabetic complications.
The local fire chief later contacted the Chelsea Post Office to credit Brown with likely saving the woman’s life.
