Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 96.81 percent during the week ending April 24, down from the organization’s 96.85 percent score one week earlier.
Western led the seven areas with a rating of 97.26 percent. All areas were down slightly from one week earlier, except for Pacific, which ranked fifth with a score of 96.47 percent, up 0.12 percent from the week ending April 17.
Among the 67 districts, Dakotas led with a rating of 98.82 percent. A dozen districts improved their scores from one week earlier, led by No. 64-ranked Los Angeles, which had a score of 93.69 percent, up 1.6 percent from one week earlier, when the district ranked 66th.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

Eastern exam. The Postal Service recently mailed Eastern Area Update’s latest issue to employees in the area.
