Information and inspiration

Variety of holiday-related resources available

The USPS Holiday Newsroom site has information and other resources to help employees during the peak delivery season.

The Postal Service’s busiest week of the holiday season is now underway and if you need information — or inspiration — to get through the next few days, there’s plenty available.

The USPS Holiday Newsroom site serves as a one-stop shop for fact sheets, recommended mailing and shipping dates, and links to usps.com, where customers can sign up for Informed Delivery, track packages, schedule pickups, locate Post Offices, look up ZIP Codes and more.

The Holiday Newsroom and the Postal Service’s YouTube channel also have the “Shipping Tips” video series, which shows customers how to pack, address and ship packages.

The CyberSafe at USPS team is offering cybersecurity tips and the USPS Ethics Office has created a presentation that can answer your questions about workplace gift exchanges and other seasonal topics, while the Employee Assistance Program has created a series of informational handouts on reducing stress and other topics.

Meanwhile, you can go to the Link site for information about holiday stamps and postmarks; this year’s holiday coloring page; stamp-related gift ideas; and stories about Operation Santa, holiday stamp artists and more.
