Cybersecurity training

Contractors must complete three courses

Three training courses will show contractors how to protect critical USPS systems from cyberthreats.

To help protect Postal Service data, the organization’s contractors must complete mandatory CyberSafe at USPS training by Jan. 7, 2020.

By completing the three courses this year, contractors will learn how to protect critical USPS information from cyberthreats.

Here’s an overview:

• CyberSafe Fundamentals Part I and CyberSafe Fundamentals Part II. These courses provide the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to adhere to cybersecurity practices and policies for the protection of USPS electronic information.

• CyberSafe 201: Data Protection. This course provides best practices for handling sensitive and sensitive-enhanced information to keep USPS electronic data secure.

Contractors can access the courses through HERO, the online learning platform for Postal Service workers.

Contractors who don’t meet the deadline will have their ACE system access restricted until all the courses are completed.
