He’s got you, babe

Framingham, MA, Acting Customer Services Supervisor Stephen Arena Sr.

Acting Customer Services Supervisor Stephen Arena Sr. was recently conducting a route inspection in Framingham, MA, when a crisis erupted: A customer came running from her home, screaming that her baby was choking.

As the woman called 911, Arena rushed to the scene.

The Postal Service employee performed the Heimlich maneuver on the customer’s child, a 9-month-old boy, clearing his airway.

Arena stayed with the pair until emergency responders arrived.

The baby recovered from the incident.
