CFC recognition. The Postal Service’s charitable fundraising efforts were recently honored by the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (CFCNCA).

During a March 5 ceremony, USPS received awards for best digital campaign, best campaign essay or publication and best overall outreach plan.

Additionally, CFCNCA Hero Awards were given to Capital District Diversity Coordinator Audrey Washington and Customer Support and Integration Manager Deborah Branagan Goldman.

Kathleen Harper, a human resources program and policy analyst who oversaw the organization’s CFC efforts, received a Spirit of Service Award.

“‘Show Some Love’ is more than a campaign slogan, it’s a life mantra,” said Washington. “I was born to do this.”

Postal Service employees pledged $7.7 million during the most recent CFC cycle, exceeding the organization’s goal by 20 percent.
