The Postal Service has announced three more stamp releases for 2019:
• Sesame Street, which will honor the influential and beloved children’s television series. Each of the 16 stamps will each feature a different Muppet from the show: Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Cookie Monster, Rosita, The Count, Oscar the Grouch, Abby Cadabby, Herry Monster, Julia, Guy Smiley, Snuffleupagus, Elmo, Telly, Grover and Zoe. Images of nine of the characters will appear on the right side of the pane.
• Tyrannosaurus Rex, a pane of 16 stamps that will feature four designs: a face-to-face encounter with a T. rex approaching through a forest clearing; the same young adult T. rex with a young Triceratops (both dinosaurs are shown in fossil form); a newly hatched T. rex covered with downy feathers; and a bare-skinned juvenile T. rex chasing a primitive mammal.
• Spooky Silhouettes, an autumn release that will feature four digital illustrations in which traditional Halloween motifs are rendered as black silhouettes in backlit windows.
USPS announced other 2019 stamps in January and last year during November and December.
