Managers to get Informed Delivery kit

Informed Delivery kit for Postmasters
USPS is sending Postmasters and others a kit with Informed Delivery enrollment materials.

Postmasters, plant managers and customer service managers will soon receive a kit to help them sign up customers for Informed Delivery.

The kit is part of the Inform 5 VIP Club, which is part of a broader effort to encourage employees to tell five customers each day about Informed Delivery.

The free feature allows users to digitally preview their incoming mail and manage their packages from computers, tablets and other mobile devices.

The kit is expected to be sent out in March. It contains instructions for signing up customers through the Informed Delivery enrollment app as well as information about the Inform 5 VIP Club promotion, which provides rewards based on the number of customers enrolled.

USPS currently has more than 15 million Informed Delivery users and hopes to have 40 million enrolled by 2020.

Increasing the number of users will encourage more businesses to add interactive content to Informed Delivery emails, thereby boosting USPS revenue and the value of mail.
