Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.52 percent during the week ending Feb. 15, down from one week earlier.
The top three areas were Eastern (97.93 percent), Pacific (97.83 percent) and Southern (97.79 percent). The top three districts were Dakotas (99.15 percent), Central Plains (98.49 percent) and Western Pennsylvania (98.46 percent).
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail, and it helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

Informed Delivery reminder. Employees can sign up for Informed Delivery, a free feature that provides users with digital previews of their incoming mail, at informeddelivery.usps.com.
Increasing the number of subscribers will encourage more businesses to add interactive content to Informed Delivery emails, thereby boosting USPS revenue and the value of mail.
