Letter Carrier Rhonda Graziano was recently making deliveries at a senior apartment complex in Oakhurst, NJ, when she noticed mail was piling up for a customer whom she’d not seen out and about as usual.
Graziano knocked on the man’s door and got no answer, so she alerted a property manager, who entered the unit and found the man unconscious.
The customer, who had suffered a stroke, was rushed to a hospital.
“If it weren’t for Rhonda’s concern, the customer likely would not be with us today,” said Oakhurst Postmaster John Mutchler III.
