Western was the area leader in scanning during the week ending June 22, while Dakotas finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.88 percent during the week ending June 22, up from one week earlier.

Dakotas (99.22 percent) topped the districts, while Western (98.15 percent) led the areas.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail. It also helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

Holiday hours. The Postal Service is providing general operating policy and planning guidance for the Independence Day holiday, which will be observed Wednesday, July 4.

Extended engagement. “Soldier, Secretary, Icon,” the National Postal Museum exhibit on Alexander Hamilton that was slated to close this month, has been extended until March.
