If you want to know Scooby-Doo’s whereabouts, look no further than USPS.
The organization will release a stamp next month to highlight the beloved canine and his new Scooby-Doo! Doo Good campaign, an initiative to help children and families create change in their communities.
The stamp, which will be available in panes of 12, shows Scooby-Doo watering a blossoming plant in a flowerpot — an act that symbolizes the Doo Good campaign’s effort to provide kids with resources to enrich their environment by performing good deeds and acts of kindness
Scooby-Doo is at the heart of one of television’s most enduring cartoon franchises. Since his 1969 debut, the character has starred in more than a dozen TV series, along with direct-to-video animated films, live-action movies and comic books.
The Doo Good campaign teaches kids that when everyone works together, there are no issues that can’t be solved and no task is too daunting. This campaign is led by generationOn, the youth division of Points of Light, an international nonprofit organization that promotes volunteer service.
USPS will dedicate the Scooby-Doo! stamp Saturday, July 14, at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. This week’s news release has more information.
