Rural Carrier Associate Robert Hrnicek was recently delivering mail in Seward, NE, when he spotted a customer who’d fallen on ice in her driveway.
Hrnicek rushed to aid the woman, who was disoriented after striking her head on the pavement.
The Postal Service employee got the customer up and into her home, where he helped her place a phone call to her husband.
The woman, who required medical treatment for a concussion, later contacted the local Post Office to thank Hrnicek for his assistance.
