Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.63 percent during the week ending Feb. 2, up from one week earlier.

Dakotas (98.92 percent) topped the districts, while Western (98.1 percent) led the areas.

To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and select “Analytics Tools,” followed by “DES 2 — Scan Performance.”

Beautiful day. The Postal Service will release its Mister Rogers stamp Friday, March 23.

The stamp will be dedicated that day during a ceremony at the Fred Rogers Studio at WQED, the Pittsburgh public TV station where his long-running series, “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” originated.

Last week’s media advisory has more information.

R.I.P., RIBBS. The Postal Service stopped updating its RIBBS industry site last November.

To prevent outdated and obsolete documents from being made public, RIBBS no longer hosts content. Instead, the site provides links to PostalPro, which has fully replaced RIBBS. Those with questions can call the PostalOne! help desk at 800-522-9085.

House of cards. The National Postal Museum in Washington, DC, will host its annual Valentine’s Day card workshop from Saturday, Feb. 10-Sunday, Feb. 11. The museum’s site has more information.
