USPS has announced its holiday schedule for Post Offices and blue collection boxes:
• Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Post Offices nationwide will be closed Sunday, Dec. 24, and Sunday, Dec. 31, as normal.
Blue collection boxes are not serviced on Sundays and will not be serviced Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve this year. Regular collections will be made Saturday, Dec. 23, and Saturday, Dec. 30.
• Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Post Offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 25, and Monday, Jan. 1, to observe the federal holidays. Only mail designated Priority Mail Express will be delivered Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Blue collection boxes will not be serviced.
Post Offices will be open Tuesday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Jan. 2, and regular mail delivery will resume.
