Some USPS employees will see a familiar face on “Family Feud” this week.
Novi, MI, Customer Services Supervisor Michael Bulbuk will be a contestant on the TV game show, along with his son, daughter-in-law, a nephew and the nephew’s wife.
“It was quite the experience. We had a blast,” said Bulbuk. “We’ve always been real close and into games. This was just a continuation of that on a bigger scale.”
The family recorded an audition video for the show after Bulbuk’s son saw a call for contestants. Following in-person auditions, Bulbuk and his brood were flown to Atlanta to tape the show.
The episode is scheduled to air Tuesday, Oct. 24. Viewers can use the “Family Feud” site to find stations and broadcast times.
Bulbuk’s appearance coincides with another milestone: He plans to retire Oct. 27 after 34 years with the Postal Service.
The show is a nice way to go out. “It’s like my retirement party,” he said.
Bulbuk isn’t permitted to say whether his family wins the game, although that hasn’t stopped co-workers from asking.
“Everything is real secretive,” he said. “Ever since I’ve come back, they want to know. I just say, ‘You’ll have to watch.’”
