When a Postal Service employee recently collapsed on the job at the Fort Worth, TX, Processing and Distribution Center, two of her colleagues promptly rendered aid.
Distribution Operations Supervisor Daniel Crowell and Mail Processing Clerk Cheryl Lemme performed CPR on the woman, who was not breathing and had no pulse.
They alternated giving chest compressions until paramedics arrived.
“Due to the quick thinking of these two heroes, our employee was resuscitated and taken to the hospital, where she is recovering,” said Sr. Plant Manager Tony Keeton.
“Daniel and Cheryl deserve a huge thanks for their efforts in saving their co-worker’s life.”
