Barbara Dailey, Chicago

Anthony Giannone, the New York letter carrier with more than 4,000 hours of sick leave, reminds me of my dad. He was a cab driver who was proud of his job. His shirts were laundered with starch, white and crisp, and he wore a black necktie. I never recall him staying home because of any illness. Mr. Giannone’s laudable dedication brought back those memories and made me teary-eyed.
