USPS launches system to track projects

The Postal Knowledge System allows employees to track continuous improvement projects throughout USPS.

The Postal Service has introduced a database to help employees track Lean Six Sigma projects and share best practices throughout the organization.

The Postal Knowledge System features fast, user-friendly project entry; extensive data output options; and reporting tools.

The search feature allows users to retrieve project-related documents such as standard work instructions and project summaries to facilitate the efficient replication of ideas.

The Postal Knowledge System will replace the Lean Six Sigma Project Tracker, which is being phased out.

Users can access and enter new projects into the Postal Knowledge System at https://pks.usps.gov/.

Projects-in-progress will be migrated to the new system from the Lean Six Sigma Project Tracker, which will shut down Sept. 30.
