Mount Pleasant, IA, Letter Carrier Toi Mills was credited with saving a customer’s life recently after she asked authorities to check on him. Mills knew that the man normally picked up his mail daily, and she was concerned that it was piling up. Emergency responders found the customer collapsed inside his home and transported him to a hospital. His brother later contacted the local Post Office and said that without Mills’ intervention, the customer would have died.
