Postal Bulletin
The Postal Bulletin’s Feb. 16 edition previews National Consumer Protection Week.

Protect yourself. The Postal Bulletin’s latest edition previews National Consumer Protection Week (March 5-11), an annual campaign to help consumers protect themselves from scams.

The Feb. 16 edition also previews the upcoming Pears stamp.

Service resumes. USPS has announced plans to restore mail service to Guatemala after service was suspended last November.

Employees may resume acceptance of all classes of mail to country, beginning March 3.

The Feb. 14 edition of Retail Digest has more information.

Know the symptoms. USPS is encouraging employees to learn about pre-diabetes, a medical condition in which sugar levels are higher than normal but not enough to be classified as diabetes.

At least 1 in 3 people in the United States have pre-diabetes. Symptoms include increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue and blurred vision.

Pre-diabetes can be reversed with proper treatment and lifestyle changes.

The key is to know your health numbers. Annual screenings to know your numbers are generally covered by your health plan with no out-of-pocket cost to you as part of preventive care.
