The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.52 percent during the week ending Nov. 18, down from the previous week.
Thirty-nine districts and three areas met or exceeded the national average.
Dakotas (98.62 percent) finished first among the districts for the ninth consecutive week, while Western (97.78 percent) led the areas for the sixth week in a row.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
Scores and standings change continually.
