Retail Associate Roberta “Bobbi” Swedo knew that a regular customer in National Park, NJ, was facing tough times, including a cancer battle that involved a three-mile bicycle ride each way for treatments.
Then came word of another bad break: While the customer, Lynn Brown, was at his cancer care center recently, his bike was stolen.
Swedo responded by giving him her own bicycle, as well as several household items, to help him and his family.
“Bobbi is a very thoughtful, generous and caring individual who is an asset to the Postal Service,” said National Park Postmaster Kalli Weatherby.
