Guidelines offered for managers, supervisors

The Postal Pulse survey, which is being administered Oct. 4-Nov. 4, helps USPS improve its workplaces.

USPS is offering guidance for managers and supervisors who receive Postal Pulse surveys for employees who have changed jobs or left the organization.

If the employee has moved to a different job site, the manager or supervisor should forward the survey to the new location.

If the employee is on extended leave and will be unable to complete the survey before the Nov. 4 deadline — or if the individual no longer works for USPS — the manager or supervisor should make a notation on the outside of the envelope and send it to Gallup, the organization that conducts the survey.

The address is: Gallup, PO Box 9020, Lynbrook NY 11563-9803.

USPS began administering the latest Postal Pulse last week. All employees are encouraged to participate in the survey, which has 13 questions and takes about 5 minutes to complete.
