There’s a mailbox on a rural highway on Whidbey Island, WA, where lovers are pouring out their hearts.
The pink box marked “Love Letters Only” belongs to Stacy Anderson, The Herald Business Journal reported last week.
Anderson’s daughters came up with the idea after she said she’d rather get love letters than her usual bills.
People now send letters to the box that range from silly to sad. “It’s just whatever they feel like expressing,” said Anderson, who saves every note.
“With all the things going on around the world, people really need this message of love and acceptance,” she told the local NBC station. “It’s really heartwarming.”
