Gary, IN, Maintenance Supervisor Ronald Avina grew concerned recently when one of his employees did not report to work as usual. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach the employee by phone, Avina contacted police and asked officers to visit the man’s home. They discovered the employee had suffered a stroke and was in dire need of medical attention. He is now recovering.
