Luke T. Grossmann has been named Finance and Planning vice president.
Grossmann reports to Chief Financial Officer Joe Corbett and is responsible for all revenue and expense budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and program evaluation.
He previously served as operations research, insight and continuous improvement director. He also managed package platform, network development and support, and served as district manager in Albany, NY.
Grossmann joined the Postal Service in 2005 after working as a consultant on various network initiatives.
“Luke’s business acumen and operational experience, coupled with a strong educational background in finance and economics, will serve him well in this new position,” said PMG Megan J. Brennan, who announced his appointment last week.
Grossmann has undergraduate degrees in economics and finance with a minor in statistics from American University and a master’s in business administration degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
He also is a Sloan Fellow and has a master’s of science in management degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
