The Postal Service has issued a $1.20 Global rate stamp highlighting the earth’s only natural satellite: the moon.
The Global: The Moon stamps are round and feature a detailed photograph of the moon. The stamps are sold on a sheet accented by a line of trees silhouetted against a night sky.
Global stamps can be used to mail a 1-ounce letter to any country where First-Class Mail International service is available.
The Postal Service issued the first Global stamp featuring a composite image of the earth in 2013.
The Moon stamps are available at Post Offices and online. The Feb. 22 news release has more information.
