The USPS Library will host a training webinar on researching legal and legislative information Thursday, Feb. 25, from 2-3 p.m. EST on LexisNexis, an online research database available on the library’s Subscription Databases site.
The webinar will introduce legal and legislative research using Lexis.com for novice and experienced researchers. Topics will include screen layout, retrieving individual documents, selecting sources, searching and viewing documents, and validating research using Shepard’s Citation Service.
The session will explore a variety of sources, including Congressional Information Service Legislative Histories, U.S. Code, committee reports, hearing transcripts and the Congressional Record.
